Joyce Li, CFA, is the CEO and Chief AI Strategist at Averanda Partners, where she advises business leaders and board directors at the intersection of AI, finance, and governance. With nearly two decades of investment leadership and AI startup co-founding experience, Joyce brings a unique perspective on technology transformation and governance innovation. Recognized as a "Top Artificial Intelligence Voice" on LinkedIn, Joyce frequently shares her insights at premium business and investment forums. She holds a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and an MBA with Palmer Scholar distinction from the Wharton School.

Lynn Raebsamen, CFA, is a finance expert and tech enthusiast with a knack for turning complex concepts into hilarious stories. With a global career bridging finance and technology, Lynn has guided numerous businesses through the maze of digital transformation, witnessing firsthand the triumphs and hiccups of cutting-edge tech adoption—including the occasional AI-driven mishap.

When not decoding the latest AI trends or penning witty tech tales, Lynn can be found carving up the world’s finest powder on skis — probably while pondering how AI might one day revolutionize the perfect snow forecast.

Austin Senseman, CFA, is a Birmingham native, CFA Charterholder, experienced entrepreneur, and speaker focused on helping organizations do more with analytics and artificial intelligence. Austin consults with business leaders on AI through his company Big Open Ocean. For background, Austin founded a startup Conserv in 2018, won Alabama Launchpad twice and reached the $1M annual recurring revenue milestone. From 2015 to 2018, Austin had a career in Microsoft analytics (Excel, Power BI) and helped scale a data and analytics consulting company that’s doing 8 figures in annual revenue with 60+ employees, P3 Adaptive, where he is a shareholder. Austin continues to consult on Microsoft Power BI, focused on training to help companies get the full value out of their technology investment. Prior to Conserv and P3 Adaptive, Austin worked on the marketing team at Harbert Management Corporation (HMC) where he developed analytics and improved systems and processes to support fundraising across the firm’s investing strategies.

Austin earned his undergraduate degree in Social Thought & Analysis from Washington University in St. Louis and then completed his graduate studies in Accounting at Samford University. Austin finished both his CPA and CFA exams in 2010. Following college, he spent a year in China, teaching English, before moving back to Birmingham. Most recently, Austin founded Birmingham AI in 2023 to educate the Birmingham community about artificial intelligence. Over the last 18 months, the group has engaged with over 1,000 participants in the Birmingham community through their monthly meetup at Innovation Depot.

Moderator

Marina Severinovsky is the Head of Sustainability, North America, and leads the sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) integration for Schroders investments in North America. She collaborates with senior managers on market strategy, client communications, product development, sales, and investor management.

Marina was previously the Investment Director for North America for the Quantitative Equity Products team from 2020, an Investment Strategist from 2016 to 2019, and an Alternatives Specialist from 2010 to 2016. Marina joined Schroders in 2010 and is based in New York. She previously worked in investment banking at Citi and in financial, accounting, and economic consulting.

Marina brings 20 years of professional experience to her role at Schroders, including economic analysis, research, and financial modeling, as well as product development, strategy, and client relationship management. She has an M.B.A. in Finance/Management, from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Economics (magna cum laude), from Columbia University.
