What an incredible few days in Chicago at CFA Institute LIVE 2025 — where ideas were shared, connections were deepened with friends old and new, and the future of our industry was actively shaped.

The #CWIM board took the stage for a fireside chat, “Creating Opportunities, Elevating Excellence,” moderated by our brilliant friend and longtime CWIM Advisor Sarah Maynard, Global Senior Head of Inclusion, CFA Institute. Together, we explored what it takes to open doors across the investment industry — and keep them open for the next generation. We loved seeing so many of you in the audience. Thank you for cheering us on!

But the real magic happened in the moments between sessions — where community took root:

• New connections formed, and longtime friendships deepened

• Real and meaningful conversations sparked

• And yes, a few (or more) selfies were definitely taken

Our mentorship program, as well as inclusive space for women in this stage of their career journey to build their own communities, are open to all who are interested.

CWIM University Relations

We are expanding our committee! As a student interested in a career in the investment industry, you seek to complement your studies with real world experiences. The University Relations initiative at Collaborative WIM aims to support and engage students, educators, and young professionals in the world of finance and investing. You can connect your academic and industry activities through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and professional development with in-person and virtual events.
